7. Basis and purpose of the register

The purpose of the register is to maintain and improve customer relationships, enable appointments and maintain billing information. Data is collected from the data subjects themselves.
In the case of the care sector, data is also collected from the nursing staff serving the client.
The collected personal data is used by J&J Healthcare & Consulting Oy and for maintaining the customer's customer relationships, invoicing, and enabling the contacts and messages required by the service. If the client has a care relationship, the data approved by the client for storage in terms of the care relationship is also stored in the system. The data will not be disclosed to third parties.
J&J Healthcare & Consulting Oy may also send marketing and other information messages to the customer, if the customer has allowed it. The Customer may opt-out of these communications by notifying us by e-mail to jussi.jarvinen@kihy.fi

8. Data content of the register

The following information is or may be stored in the register: name, e-mail address, telephone number, address (if necessary), gender (if necessary), notes, as well as booking history and additional booking-specific information. In addition to this, information about who has viewed and edited customer data, reservations made, customer visits, payments and information about who has viewed or edited it.

9. Regular disclosure of data and whether data is transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area

J&J Healthcare & Consulting Oy will not disclose the collected customer data to a third party unless it is required to do so by law or by an authority. The customer undertakes to use the customer data as if it were their own and is responsible for the disclosure practices.

10. Data retention

The data is stored for the duration of the customer relationship or as long as required by law; 12 years from the death of the patient or, if there is no information about it, 120 years from the birth of the patient (in accordance with the Annex to Decree 94/2022). The data may be required to be deleted if permitted by law and requested by the customer.

11. Protection of the register

The Vello software used in maintaining the register is protected by username and password identification. The database server is protected by firewalls, passwords and the technical implementation of the service. Manual material is stored in a locked space.

12. Rights of the data subject

The customer has the right to access the data concerning him or her (Article 15 of EU 2016/679), the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data (16 EU 2016/679).
