Massage of the masticatory muscles

The treatment examines the mobility and function of the jaw joint and the tension of the muscles that affect the bite. In addition to the jaw and masticatory muscles, the treatment focuses on the cervical spine and the muscles that assist breathing. The treatment of the neck and shoulders is very often used in the treatment of masticatory muscle ailments. In addition to treatment, the client may receive supportive exercises to be done at home.

In masticatory muscle massage, as in all massage, different techniques are applied individually depending on the problem.
